Hello, world! I'm Zachary Wells. Everyone has a passion. That for me: digital storytelling. Growing up, stories have inspired me to be the best version of myself. They still do today. My desire is to create similar experiences for others via the lens of social media and creative content.
Pittsburgh is home. It has been my entire life and has given me several opportunities to pursue a dream of making a career out of my passions. My enjoyment for baseball and the Pittsburgh Pirates led to the formation of my own Instagram community (@pirates.only) that I have managed for over 9 years. Having that gateway to my journey led to an internship with the start-up company Lady Blue Coffee, a position with Pitt Women's Basketball, and my most recent endeavor with the Miracle League of the South Hills.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information. There, I was a Creative Content Intern for the University's Women's Basketball team during my senior year. This eye-opening experience gave me an in-depth understanding about being behind the camera and producing social media content within a Division I program. It gave me an opportunity to build relationships and learn from some of the best in the creative media industry.
Wherever it may be, I will be excited to bring my passionate and eager self along the way. I am always looking to treat every experience as a growth opportunity and want to share that with others!
